Brevillier Village offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology. Our Erie short-term Rehab Department is committed to helping Brevillier residents at Ball Pavilion, Barnabas Court, and Conrad House achieve their highest functional level so each person can realize an optimal quality of life.
All Rehab Staff are employed by Brevillier Village. The eight permanent team members have over 200 years combined experience, almost half that number right here at Brevillier Village. Our Erie short term rehab staff works closely with nursing, social services, recreation, and food services to provide the best possible care for our residents. Therapists participate in weekly wound care, dining, positioning, and fall prevention. They provide resident and employee in-servicing and education.
SHORT STAY REHABILITATION
Residents from the community can benefit from the short stay rehab program at Ball Pavilion. Our experienced therapists and team approach help individuals regain their independence and make a smooth transition back home or to a living arrangement that will best meet their needs. Our experienced Erie short term rehab team will conduct a home visit with the individual prior to transition home. Our goal is always to transition to the least restrictive environment possible.
OUTPATIENT THERAPY
Residents may sometimes need strengthening while at home due to a fall, recent hospital stay or chronic conditions. They may need assistance with learning how to use a new walker or powerchair. Residents may qualify for our Erie outpatient therapy program. Therapists can provide this service right in the resident’s room or apartment. Resident insurance can be billed for these services.
RESTORATIVE NURSING PROGRAM
Following therapy, residents who continue to reside at Ball Pavilion (Skilled Nursing) are referred to our Restorative Nursing Program. This formal program serves as a link between Rehab and Nursing aimed at maintaining the gains the resident achieved while receiving therapy.
